How quickly will I get a response?
We aim to respond to all support requests within 24 hours during business days. Urgent issues are prioritized and may receive faster responses.
What information should I include in my request?
Please include as much detail as possible: what you were trying to do, what happened instead, any error messages, and screenshots if applicable. This helps us resolve your issue faster.
Do you offer phone support?
Currently, we provide support via email and our contact form. This allows us to better track and document issues, ensuring nothing gets missed.
How do I set up my organization?
After signing up, go to Settings > Organization to configure your company name, logo, and time zone. Then invite your team from Settings > Users. You can send individual invitations or bulk import via CSV.
How does billing work?
Brighten offers Free, Starter, Growth, Pro, and Enterprise plans. You can manage your subscription from Settings > Billing. We accept all major credit cards through Stripe. Annual billing is available with a discount.
How do I connect Slack or Microsoft Teams?
Go to Admin > Integrations and select Slack or Microsoft Teams. Click the connect button and follow the authorization flow. Once connected, your team can give recognition directly from Slack or Teams.
Is my data secure?
Yes. All data is encrypted in transit (TLS 1.3) and at rest (AES-256). We support SSO, two-factor authentication, and role-based access controls. Enterprise plans include audit logs and IP allowlisting.
Is there a mobile app?
Brighten is a fully responsive web application that works great on mobile browsers. Simply navigate to hellobrighten.com from your phone and add it to your home screen for an app-like experience. Native apps are on our roadmap.
Can I export my data?
Yes. Admins can export recognitions, users, rewards, and analytics data from Admin > Export in CSV or JSON format. This supports GDPR compliance and lets you analyze data in your preferred tools.
